Sydney the last ...



Hello I am arrived yesterday for the third and (for now) last time in Sydney!
The flight was great! ne had beautiful views of Alice Springs to Sydney



here are indeed at the time the World Youth Days held ..






125 000 people more than normal ... and people do not even hide in pubs, camp sites or Hosteln ... they run in large and small groups through the streets singing, dancing, and do what the Christians of the world else do so ...

I have a ticket to the biggest party I've ever had on the get paid to ...
sight of insanity, all the people ...
and then still got a bag full of food down in your hand! Yesterday
then a woolly hat :-)

the day after the Pope-wale-watching I've been watching ...





That was not as good as the long whale-watching what my sister made a few years ago in northern Australia has ... there are more whales, more visible and closer to the boat was!
Well .. If I again sometime at the appropriate time in Cairns, I am the hole after

the last few days in Sydney I spend for things to do, need to be done and to do things that I wanted to do yet :-)



as my tax return or submit the I-Max to go cinema .. or the museum (was great!)
or ...
the roof of the opera to climb up :-) Have

looked after souvenirs but non really found something enjoyable!
wanted a great or small Boomerang Didgeridoo ... but like the ones offered here in Sydney, me not so good ... Bring
so little goodies to take home :-(
except a lot of beautiful memories, photos and movies ;-)

From Alice Springs to Adelaide ... Alice Springs

Hey ..

Yesterday I returned to Alice Springs back ...
and immediately you start off (again) to Sydney ...

On the 5 day trip with the girls and the New Zealanders
we have seen many beautiful places between Adelaide and Alice ...
Unfortunately, it is in the middle and southern areas of Australia is currently very cold .. even more so at night ...
why we were not camping, but had to try to reach cities with Hosteln before dawn and dark is ... Kangaroos are very active since then and you see them only when it is too late .. naja ..

intermediate were the highlights of our trip to enjoy it just the right monotonous Outback ...

After exploring the terrain reminiscent of various space movies, we have stayed in Coober Pedy

6.5 meters below ground
...
and observed the small, interesting city ...





(Coober Pedy claimed not only the largest gem source in the world for themselves, many of the residents live in houses under the ground to protect themselves from the hot summers and cold winters .. .)

Our next stop was Port Augusta where we stayed only for reasons of time, unfortunately ...
to spend the next day as much time in the Flinders Ranges to ...





The Flinders Ranges are without doubt one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen ...
If it were not so icy cold, we would have enjoyed the 4 hour hike on one of the many mountain peaks more secure! Nevertheless, it
has paid off, because the view was exceptional!









We can stay after real cheap in a small caravan, which has contributed to the decision a night to stay longer and we further Places in the ranking to look at ...
Who wants to holiday in Australia and Lord of the Rings-like landscapes, should go in the summer in the Flinders Ranges!







We also back lots of kangaroos, wallabies, eagles, falcons, emus, cows and sheep have seen ... Unfortunately I have

of the giant eagle,
feed on the carcasses
along the road ...
We have been lucky enough to see the endangered yellow-foot rock wallabies ...
After the Flinders Ranges we have gamacht a few short stops
in one of the famous Australian wine regions ...
free and different varieties and types of cheap wine tasted fine until ...






than us then evening arrived in Adelaide
we have a quiz, won in the hostel
a whole bottle of wine ..
we have emptied after a delicious pizza dinner in a very cool pub ...
for a beautiful day in Adelaide, I had to leave again to rise on short or long in the near future in my plane to, which brings me to Germany!
